Expansion to Galle Dutch Fort brought new opportunities, but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic posed severe challenges. Instead of succumbing, Starbeans adapted by maintaining an islandwide presence and connecting with customers online. Its focus on sustainability and community engagement deepened during this time, helping it survive the crisis.
